IUP requires a signed publishing agreement to be kept on file in the Thesis-Dissertation Office. This agreement grants the IUP Libraries the right to post your dissertation on the university’s website. Please complete the Dissertation Publishing Agreement or Thesis Publishing Agreement and submit it to the Thesis-Dissertation Office.

The University Graduate School. Stay on top of all of your deadlines for your thesis or dissertation. Degrees are granted monthly. In order for a degree to be conferred in a given month, the following items must submitted to the University Graduate School by the deadlines below.
It is the responsibility of the student to form a Ph.D. dissertation committee consisting of a chairperson who will direct the dissertation and four (4) additional members. The chairperson must be a member of the department and a member of the graduate faculty with the endorsement to direct doctoral dissertations (see University Graduate School, Academic Bulletin ).
